Prepare a property for scanning

Here are our top tips on how to prepare a property for scanning

• Light it up –  Turn on all lights and open curtains or blinds. The more light, the better.
• Clear the clutter –  Make sure at least part of each wall near the floor is visible. It helps to detect room boundaries more accurately.  
• Plan your path –  Decide on a logical route before you start. This helps ensure you don't miss any rooms.
• Scan room by room –  For best results, scan each room individually. You don't need to worry about the order, as the app automatically recognizes your location and accurately assembles the rooms at the end.
• Close other apps – If possible, close all other apps on your phone. This helps the FloorCapture app run faster and more smoothly.
