What if I forgot to scan an area?

Oops, missed a room? No worries—it happens to the best of us. Before you wrap up at a property, it’s always smart to double-check your scan to ensure everything has been captured. If you realize something is missing, don’t stress—there are easy ways to fix it and keep your project on track.

To review a scan

1. Start FloorCapture, open My Projects, and open the scanned project. 
2. Tap the image of the scan to access the floor plans.
3. Tap the 2D Floor Plan to enlarge it.
   Tip: If you haven't generated a 2D floor plan yet, click Generate.
4. Walk around the property and compare it to the 2D Floor Plan.
5. If you notice that something is missing or you forgot to scan an area, you have two options. 

Option 1 - Start a new project

• On the FloorCapture Projects page, tap the yellow + New Project button. 
• Then go ahead and scan everything from the start.

Option 2 - Edit the FloorCapture plan

• You can add the missing area by editing your plan.
